Dick's TV Center was started up by Richard and Doris Kokes in the 1950's in a small building on Florida Ave in the downtown area, In 1970 they bought the store at 130 N Carmalita. I started working for Dick in 1980. Doris passed away in the 1980's. Dick continued to operate the business until he decided to sell the building and property approx 2007. We then moved to the location on state street primarily providing service. After Dick's passing June 14, 2009 I, Dean Warwick, and my wife Dorene, took over the business Jan 2010 and since then have had to move the business to my home and we now do mobile TV repairs.
The continuing saga. i was going to retire but I am unable to retire completely so my services will still be available, but mostly for help with no signal, new equipment installation, wall mounting, home theater installation, etc.
